Our rules are very much similar to those of the Ball’s and so you should know them by now.
But in case you don’t, here they are :
This is a SAFE SPACE. We do not allow or tolerate: sexual harassment, bullying, sexism, racism, ableism, homophobia, fatphobia, transphobia or general hatefullness. No means no. You will be asked to leave if you cannot respect this space.

Aphotica organizer’s word is final.
Please direct any complaints to the door man or Bri(bj-90) for immediate action. Resolving any issues is increasingly difficult for us to deal with after the fact. That means please don’t wait to tell us about it or it’ll be too late!
Dress Code
There is a dress code in effect at Aphotica. To be permitted entry into the event all patrons must follow our fetish dress code. Retail stores selling our tickets such as: River City Ink & Steel, the Love Nest (Main St & Taylor locations), Adam & Eve ans Smitten; do carry items that can be worn to Aphotica. If you are unsure about what is appropriate please ask them or contact one of the organizers. See our list of rules for further details.
Fetish attire is defined as:
Leather (vest/jacket itself is not enough)
Black jeans or modified blue jeans are ok (no unmodified blue jeans)
“Dom(me) uniform”
Lace
Hosierie / boots / heels
Lingerie
Latex / PVC / rubber/ spandex
BDSM
Uniforms / costumes
Gothic / industrial
Cross dressing
Saran wrap / duct tape
Suits / formal
Kilts
No T shirts, except:
- The Ball
- WSTC (Winnipeg Shibari Theater Company)
- Aphotica
- Fantasy
Nudity
- anus & genitals must be covered
- naked nipples are OK
- dressing down to only a thong is OK
Rules at Aphotica:
No minors – proof of age will be required.
No children’s uniforms.
No cameras or media recording devices.
No drugs.
No soliciting.
No genital contact.
No breaking of skin.
No asphyxiation.
No urination or defecation outside of washrooms.
No food or beverages purchased outside of the premises will be allowed in.
No food in dungeon.
No glass in dungeon.
Do not interrupt scenes.
Rules on Fetlife:
Blocking an organizer, moderator or owner of the Aphotica Fetlife group will get you removed. If an owner or moderator feels the need to block you, you will also be removed from this group.
